At this moment in our lives we are somewhere in the process of becoming what God intends for His purpose. Our Master, the potter, desires to mold us so that we can be used by Him. He has and is using our trials to transform us, to strengthen us, to mature us, to reveal our beauty so we can enter into a life of service as Vessels Unto Honor!

In a great house there are vessels,
Some of wood and some of clay.
There are great ones and small ones,
You can choose the ones you may.
Some for service, some for beauty,
Others bear refreshing wine.
Lord, I care not how you use me,
Please just hear this prayer of mine.

Chorus

Make me a vessel unto honour,
The fame of this world, I refuse.
Sanctify me, cleanse me, and fill me,
Meet for the Master’s own use.

Lord, my vessel is empty;
It is purged from dross and sin,
By your precious blood on Calv’ry.
It has cleansed me now within.
Tho’ unworthy for Your service,
Yet Your grace is mine today;
So I offer You my vessel
For Your use and this I pray.

Chorus

Make me a vessel unto honour,
The fame of this world, I refuse.
Sanctify me, cleanse me, and fill me,
Meet for the Master’s own use.
Yes, I’ll be meet for the Master’s own use.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay;
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.

This precious verse sums up our greatest desire for each lady that visits this website:

If a man therefore purge himself from these,
he shall be a vessel unto honour,
sanctified, and meet for the master’s use,
and prepared unto every good work.

2 Timothy 2:21

At Vessels Unto Honour, you will find devotionals & lessons especially geared for ladies, and an independent, fundamental, Baptist ladies message board and more as we add on, so please come in and join us!

The start of the Vessels Unto Honour Websites happened in July of 2006. The initial idea started with a message board because a group of dedicated ladies saw the need for a secure, separated, IFB, KJB, ladies only message board based on old fashioned principles, where ladies are encouraged to build their husbands and families

As work on the message board progressed, the idea of an entire website began to form and already contains some wonderful ressources.

Having been a part of another message board that had a yearly online teaching “jubilee” or “retreat” of sorts, we wanted to continue this wonderful tradition. The posters will be ladies from the our message board. You’ll be seeing poetry, songs, lessons, studies, and devotionals. Although the message board is open to members only, we will be posting the lessons on a blog to be a blessing to all.

Even if you are not a member, we look forward to any comments you have about the treasures posted! Simply register on the blog and post your comments.

We truly hope these websites will be an easily accessible ressource not only for our VUH ladies, but also for other ladies who desire to become “vessels sancitified and meet for the Master’s use.” 2 Timothy 2:21

Vessels Unto Honour websites are under the direction of a local, New Testament, independent Baptist church, Drum Baptist Chapel, Calcium, NY, under the pastorate of Bro. Vince Williams. We hold the King James Bible as the preserved, innerant Word of God.

The VUH websites are owned by:

Angela Trenholm – Member, People’s Baptist Church, Kelowna, BC, Canada, under the pastorate of Wes Hutchens.

Jennifer Williams – Member and Pastor’s wife, Drum Baptist Chapel, Calcium, NY, under the pastorate of Bro. Vince Williams.

As the Bible says, ministries should be under the direction of a local church and a a Preacher of right doctrine*, final say should rest with Jennifer’s husband, Pastor Vince Williams.

* Preacher of right doctrine – as laid out especially in I and II Timothy.

We also have other ladies who are members of churches of like faith and practice who help with the administration and moderating of the message board.
